I have 0 knowledge in flowers, so checked the info at Wiki.
Says here that:
" In France, it is a traditional funeral flower, given in condolence for the death of a loved one." and
"In France and Francophone cultures, carnations symbolize misfortune and bad luck."

Whoa. Mokou is one of my favorites and I love this sombre tone you've cast on her. Its got beauty in that speed paint sort of way (I hope that doesn't offend you, I seriously like the effects speedpaint can sometimes garner unintentionally/intentionally) :) Really interesting, captures a snapshot of grace in motion
